Waseca Arts Council WAC Summer Art Classes for Children      This summer we are offering a variety of classes designed to fit a variety of ages and schedules.  Please call the Art Center to register or ask questions:  835-1701.  Space is limited…..call now to reserve your place! Summer Art Camps: These 3 day camps are designed to combine fine arts and crafts.  The students will work with drawing, painting, and sculpture.  Each session will explore different topics …so sign up for more than one.  Students who are staying for both the early and late session during the day are encouraged to bring a snack to eat during the break.  Teachers:  Allison Roberts and Karen Krause Cost:  $ 38.00 per session,  materials included Art Exploratory I:   July 6-8   (Tues, Wed, Thurs) Session A:  9:00-10:30 am -  ages 5-8 Session B:  9:00-10:30 am -  ages 9-12 Session C:  11:00am-12:30pm-  ages 5-8 Session D:  11:00am-12:30pm-  ages 9-12   Art Exploratory II:  August 10-12 (Tues, Wed, Thurs) Session E:  9:00-10:30am-  ages 5-8 Session F:  9:00-10:30am-  ages 9-12 Session G:  11:00am-12:30pm-  ages 5-8 Session H:  11:00am-12:30pm-  ages 9-12   Other Art Classes: Ages 5-10 Painting/Watercolor Class- Different topics/themes/artists each week. Tuesday, July 13 -   9:00-10:30am Tuesday, July 20-    9:00-10:30am Tuesday, July 27 -     9:00-10:30am   Ages 11-15 Digital Photography- Learn how to take better photographs using your digital camera.  Basic operation, composition, and lighting will be covered during the first class.  The second class will build on the first- emphasis on photographic your environment (buildings, parks, community) and portraits.  Bring a digital camera (with owner’s manual if you have it) and rechargeable batteries (already charged!!!).
