Valentine Class Coming February 13

The Waseca Arts Council is getting ready for Valentine’s Day and invites all children to join in making some very special Valentines at the Art Center on February 13th.

Age on the class is open, but particularly recommended for ages four through eight. It will be a short one hour, one day class taught by the WAC’s new art education specialist, Allison Roberts.

The children in the class will create a one-of-a-kind Valentine collage card or hanging that will look great displayed in a window for all to see. They can create multiple pieces that can hang together to tell the whole family how much they all are loved.

The class will be from 10:00—11:00 am at the Waseca Art Center. Cost is $5.00 per child and all materials will be supplied. Call or stop in the Art Center to register.
 
The Waseca Art Center hours of operation are Tuesday – Friday 10 a.m. till 4:00 p.m., and Saturdays 10 a.m. till 2:00 p.m. It is located at 410 State Street North, in Waseca, Minnesota. The Waseca Arts Council, Inc. is a nonprofit organization. The Waseca Arts Council is regularly supported by grants from Prairie Lakes Regional Arts Council from funds appropriated by the Minnesota State Legislature. The WAC is further supported by Waseca County, the City of Waseca, E.F. Johnson Foundation. the Waseca Foundation, ADC Corporate Giving Program, and by contributing business and individual donors of the Waseca Arts Council, Inc.

Some activities of this organization are made possible by a grant provided by the Prairie Lakes Regional Arts Council from general funds approved by the Minnesota State Legislature an d in part, by the Minnesota arts and cultural heritage fund as appropriated by the Minnesota State Legislature with money from the vote of the people of Minnesota on November 4, 2008.
